Complete custom box "kits" are available.
While BARRIER Superinsulation panels are sometimes added to existing refrigeration boxes to supplement the standard urethane foam insulation, they aften used used to construct the entire box.  A complete box "kit" may be purchased which consists of BARRIER Superinsulation panels with the optional fiberglass facing, one or more "Ready-To-Mount" hatches, fiberglass corner reinforcements and two-part Plexus adhesive.

The box kits are custom made to your drawings or patterns (in virtually any size and shape) and can be assembled "on-site" in usually less than two hours.  The white coloration is integral to the fiberglass liner and  does not require painting or gelcoating.  Once assembled, the box is trimmed with wood or fiberglass paneling and a suitable countertop to match the vessel interior decor.  Top or front hatch openings are left for you to build in your own hatch or Glacier Bay "Ready-To-Mount"™ Hatches may be pre-installed.

For an additional charge, Glacier Bay will even pre-assemble your custom box for you.  Customers who are also purchasing a Glacier Bay refrigeration system, can have the the holding plate(s) pre-mounted and plumbed in, making a true "drop-in" refrigeration unit.   Shown below are two examples of customer's factory assembled uints.

This is a BARRIER Ultra-R front-opening freezer with two #2 Glacier Bay freezer holding plates and one "Ready-To-Mount" Hatch.  The box is ready to be dropped into the cabinetry and trimmed out.

This upright refrigerator box is constructed of BARRIER 20 and BARRIER 30.  It is front-opening and divided into two compartments with a central shelf which is perforated for ventilation.  Each compartment is accessed by a "Ready-To-Mount" Hatch.   The box is cooled by a single #3 Glacier Bay refrigerator holding plate (external connections are visible).
